WIP Wednesday is back!

I know that I haven’t posted regularly for a bit – that’s because I’ve realized that it was kind of ridiculous to try and come up with a post every day, while juggling school, dance, and more.

But, I still want to post a lot, so these posts will be coming more than once a week 🙂

For WIP Wednesday, I have a few things. Actually, it’s about four, so the word ‘Quartet’ couldn’t have been better for the Daily Prompt!

First up, I have two Feel Better Friends dolls – a brother/sister combo. They are so fun to work on, and it feels amazingly great to ship them off to their new homes.

Second, I have a sweater. I’m only about three or four rows into it, but I can tell already that it’ll be super soft! I know that I’ve posted about it before – having to frog it so that I could make it in the right size – and I haven’t really gotten a chance to work much on it. Hopefully that will change soon!

Thirdly, I have a purse-to-be. Remember those Daisy-Chains that I was making? The lovely tutorial over on the Moji-Moji site sparked my inspiration. However, I didn’t want to commit to making another blanket (finished my granny-square one, by the way!), so I decided to make a smaller project. What exactly, you ask? I wasn’t totally sure at the beginning, to be honest, but now I know that I’m going to try and sew them together into a purse. It should be fun to see if I can line them all up…and if I have enough…

My fourth and final project (Well, depends if you count the FBF dolls as one or two projects) is my mini-me doll. I’m following the FBF doll pattern, but making it look like myself. This is so that I can test out new patterns to see if they’ll fit regular FBF dolls, as well as have one of those little dolls myself 😛

So those are the projects that I have in the work-in-progress stage. How about projects that I want to start but haven’t yet gotten around to?

Well, that describes a lot. I’d like to start designing my own ami’s, just like over at Moji-Moji. I also want to do something with granny squares – maybe some sort of clothing? And I have a ton of tuelle/netting type yarn/fabric-stuff (I don’t know the technical term, obviously), so I’d like to try and do something with all of that. And, of course, Easter decor! If I can’t make it in time for this year, maybe I can set off for next year’s Easter. That, and my Grandma has a birthday coming up soon, so I want to crochet her something, because she was the one who first introduced me to the crochet world.

Speaking of birthdays, I want to offer a challenge. However, since this post is getting long enough already, I’ll save it for another day. Dun dun dun….
